Owner and CEO of Shanti Yogi, Sari’s passion and drive lies in helping people lead more empowered, joyful, healthy lives. Since completing her training as an Executive/Life Coach and Organizational Change Consultant in 2002 through Concordia University’s Master’s degree program in Human Systems Intervention, she has partnered with hundreds of individuals and organizations, showing them how to embrace change, live with mindfulness and optimize their health.
A certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, meditation instructor, somatic therapist, Reiki Master and naturotherapist, Sari offers a variety of holistic services to help individuals and groups tap into their heart’s desires, reconnect to the wisdom of their body and restore the seeds of health and vitality that lie within us all. As a registered naturotherapist, Sari’s treatments are covered under most health insurance plans.

Co-Founder of Shanti Yogi and a graduate of the Foothills College of Massage Therapy in Calgary, Andrée has practiced massage therapy in the Moncton region since 2003. Combining sweedish massage, myofascial release techniques and energetic healing, Andrée provides a unique style of treatment. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and offers Reiki treatments, Reiki certifications and Reiki shares.
Jessica Sears, Bsc. Kin, RMT, SMT (C)
Jessica is a graduate from the Université de Moncton with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Kiné Concept Maritimes Inc., for the past 12 years she has worked in private physiotherapy clinics in Dieppe as a Kinesiologist and Registered Massage Therapist.
Jessica volunteers at various sporting events in the Greater Moncton Area, twice at the Boston Marathon, in 2011 she was part of the host medical team for the Canada Winter Games in Halifax, has been the full time medical trainer for the Mathieu Martin Matadors High School football team and the Dieppe Commandos JR A hockey team. Presently she works with Hockey New Brunswick, the Jr B Kent Koyotes and the Midget AAA Fredericton Caps. She has been selected as Team Therapist with Team Atlantic, for the National Women’s Under 18 Hockey Championship in 2011, Team Canada-Atlantic for the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in 2013 and 2014 and this summer will be part of the Core Medical team for Canada at the Jeux de la Francophonie in Africa.
Currently Jessica is the President for the CSMTA.
Jacynte Léger, E-RYT 500
Jacynte has been teaching yoga in the greater Moncton area for over 6 years. Her desire to find physical, emotional, and spiritual balance in her own life began over 10 years ago, this is what brought her to yoga and keeps her coming back to her mat!
She decided to take her yoga teacher certification in 2008, since her basic certification she has continued to study different style and applications of yoga such as: Kundalini Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pre and Post natal Yoga, as well as Thai Yoga Body work.
Jacynte offers a variety of yoga classes that incorporate different styles of yoga that have helped her achieve more balance in her life and practice. She also offers individual yoga sessions as well as thai yoga body work.
Mélika has been a certified Hatha Yoga since 2006 studying under the teachings of Sivananda Yoga International. Brought up in a yogic home where her father followed the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, she learned from a young age that being in tune with one’s body was an essential part of living a wholesome and happy life.
To deepen her knowledge of Yoga, Mélika embarked on a backpacking journey to India in 2010, opening the space to deepen her knowledge of yoga and introducing her to Ayurvedic Medecine.
In 2012 Mélika began formally studying Ayurvedic Medicine under Dr. Anita Sharma to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner. The Ayurvedic approach to health and healing is based on treating every person as a unique part of the quantum whole. Ayurveda does not concentrate on one aspect of the body but see’s the body as inextricably connected. Each Ayurvedic Consultation will begin by helping individuals discover their unique body type and the root of any imbalances that may exist in the mind, body spirit connection. Eventually guiding clients through various tools, practices and interventions to maintain or restore optimal health.
Melika is also certified in Ayurvedic Facial, Head Massage and has learned Chakra Balancing Massage in her Ayurvedic studies. She loves applying her knowledge of herbs and oils into her practice and natural skin cream line. Reiki is also a part of her practice that she incorporates into her treatments.
Nicole Richard, RD
Nicole’s passion is to help you develop a healthy relationship with food in order to live a better, more balanced and nourished life.
With a Bachelor Degree in Science and a dietetic accreditation from the Université de Moncton, Nicole has experience in clinical nutrition, community health and one-on-one nutrition coaching.
Nicole believes that every individual is different and requires a unique plan to help them meet their health goals. With a holistic approach to your overall wellbeing, Nicole wants to help you understand how your body works and to help you build the key habits that will make eating well enjoyable and sustainable. As a Registered Dietitian, Nicole’s treatments are covered under most health insurance plans.
Erin Bursey, CYT
Erin started formal yoga training in 2007, it was initially to deepen her own physical practice but as you embark on a new journey you never know where it will lead. She completed her reflexology certification and dietary counselling with a focus on whole foods while living in Ireland.
Through her own experience she believes the body wants to heal and by deepening our connection between mind, body and breath we dissolve stress, tap into our own source of deep healing, find balance, and have fun along the way. Anna Tremblay, PT, CYT 500
Anna has been working as a physiotherapist since 1987. She also studied at the Collège d’études ostéopathiques of Montréal. She has been teaching yoga since 2013.
The therapeutic application of yoga is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges, creating an individualized treatment plan. Using her knowledge in physiotherapy, osteopathy and yoga, Anna will guide clients with musculoskeletal symptoms and limitations to take a self-management approach using carefully selected movements (asanas), breathing techniques (pranamaya), relaxation and education base on the assessment. The one-on-one sessions are led recognizing the connection between the body, mind and spirit.
Paulette Richard, PT
Paulette has been practicing as a physiotherapist for the past 40 years. A graduate from the Université de Montréal, with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Paulette has practiced in a variety of settings including owning her own multidisciplinary physiotherapy clinic and spending 8 years working in a hospital and university setting. Paulette is specialized in the following techniques: McKenzie techniques; muscle energy techniques; Temporo-mandibular joint Rocabado techniques (TMJ);Osteopathic techniques; myofascial release and cranio-sacral therapy; Neuroproprioception taping techniques; acupuncture; Sarhman muscle imbalance techniques; Golf Kinetics; sports medicine.
Mélanie Line Richard obtained her Massage Therapy Diploma (2200 hrs) from the ICT Northumberland College, Halifax in 2004. Since then, she has been dedicated in continuing her education in various healing arts such as studying Medical Qi-Gong, receiving certifications in Reiki Master Level and Yin Yoga Teacher Training (100 hrs). She will complete the Therapeutic Approach Hatha/Vinyasa Teacher Training (200 hrs) by June 2017.
She believes in the many health benefits of Massage Therapy, Reiki and Yoga and is honored to share her knowledge using therapeutic techniques in the Swedish Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Release and Energetic Traditions. Every treatment is specifically designed to encourage balance and healing.
